Lauren Scheiner (MA-SLP; MSN-RN) is an advanced practice registered nurse (RN95255137) and speech-language pathologist, with extensive experience treating communication disorders. She currently serves as the UCLA Multidisciplinary Neurofibromatosis and Schwannomatosis (NF/SWN) Nursing Clinic Coordinator. In both direct care and administrative roles, she provides a person-centered approach across cultural, linguistic, and language impairment barriers. She completed her MS in Nursing with focus in palliative care and behavioral health. In addition to graduate teaching at SFSU, Lauren is planning to pursue her doctorate of nursing practice.
